Initially business focus was directed to Fire Stopping and Fire Protection, and concentration given to establishing good reputation and a positive relationship with major UK construction contractors. As a direct result of pressure from this client base, Gerco UK has extended its core activities to include Dry Lining and Stud Partitioning, Ceilings, Air Sealing and associated works. This additional skills base has allowed Gerco UK to provide a 'one stop shop' to undertake a complete package of works for clients.
In recent years, growth in Dry Lining and Partitioning has taken prominence and this activity now forms the major part of core business, as the company continues to expand.
More recently, as a means of enhancing the competence of the management and operative skill base and further embedding quality assurance practices, the company has repositioned itself to train from within, using employees own extensive experience. A training arm has been established to undertake employee development and to offer the service to other companies.
