  • 3rd Party Health, Safety and Environmental accreditation, such as SAFEContractor or CHAS, has been introduced to recognise companies who, after rigorous scrutiny and regular audit, show their procedures and practices and performance allow them to operate to the highest safety standards.
  • This accreditation can give clients confidence that a professional approach by the Subcontractor is the norm and that high health, safety and environmental awareness is being applied to their project(s).
  • Significant additional Client/Main Contractor value and benefits can result through reduced, or in some cases, no direct Client/Main Contractor supervisory requirement applied to projects, depending on size, in the knowledge that the Subcontractor is proactive in maintaining a safe system of work.
